Lemme tell ya, if you're thinking of having the ultimate The Roundhouse Beacon wedding, this ones for you. With all of the stunning brick and modern details you could ever need, it's the perfect combo of modern meets classic Hudson Valley imaginable.
And this chic disco ball filled The Roundhouse Beacon wedding was truly a spectacular night of ultimate party vibes. When I first met Meg and Ryan, one of the first things they told me about themselves was that music was extremely important to them. So important, that they had seen Phish over 90 times EACH. Let that sink in. Ninety. Times. Each. If that doesn't tell you they love music, well, I don't know what does. As we began the planning process for what sort of vibe they were into for photos, they stressed that they wanted their wedding day to be one big music festival like party. Say no more! A reception strewn with shining disco balls, a neutral color palette, sparkles and glitter galore. A party to remember for all of their friend and family visiting from all over the world!
If you've never been to The Roundhouse before, it's truly a stunning place to spend a romantic getaway with your love even if you're not getting married. An 1800's industrial site turned into a piece of gorgeous modern design, it has everything from a beautiful restaurant that sources all local ingredients, to an event space with floor to ceiling glass walls, historic brick, all delicately hanging over the Fishkill Creek with some great views of the waterfall as you lounge. It event produces 60% of it's own energy for the whole hotel with hydroelectric power from the creek!
We love a beautiful and sustainable space.
With that said, every space in the hotel was really overwhelmingly gorgeous, but you know it's gonna be an especially good day when you start off photos in a circular bath tub filled with disco balls and rosè.
Lemme tell ya, they had a hell of a party. With our badass friend and planner Lindsey of Wildflower Events + Design leading the charge, Meg and Ryan had it all with an absolutely stacked vendor team to pull off a party like no other. I hope that you're day was everything you dreamt it would be, Meg and Ryan! Thank you so much for trusting us with your love!
